Features: The postscript begins with me starting to write this book and completes it today, taking nearly two and a half years in total. When the first draft was finished, my mentor, Mr. Li Zhengfeng, promised: "After I copy it, I will thoroughly proofread it for you." My mentor was renowned for both his moral character and literary achievements in his time. Yet, this past New Year's, my mentor suddenly passed away unexpectedly. How tragic! I have lost my pillar of support. Fortunately, Heaven has been kind to me, as the wise elder Chen Shaomo of Chang'an welcomed me into his home, offering guidance and instruction, which greatly enriched the writing of this book. Mr. Shaomo was also kind enough to write the title for this book, which is a great encouragement to me as a junior scholar. Professor Ji Yuan of Xi'an Normal College, despite his busy schedule and distractions, took the time to proofread all the text of the first draft. After the two rounds of proofreading, I consulted Professor Si Wei of the History Department at Shaanxi Normal University. Even during the intense heat, Professor Si provided invaluable guidance on the historical matters discussed in this book and encouraged me to pursue deeper research in the future, worthy of the unique cultural environment and rich heritage of Shaanxi. The final review of this book was conducted by Professor Cao Boyong of Shaanxi Normal University. Professor Cao devoted half a month to meticulous proofreading, which deeply moved me. I sincerely thank all these gentlemen for their generous love and support. During the writing process, my friends Fang Bao'an, Geng Shiguang, Jiang Gongju, Li Jiansen, and Zhong Diao provided much assistance. Thank you! — Zong Ming'an
