Features: This series of books not only helps to call for people to understand ancient towns, pay attention to them, and protect them, but also contributes to enhancing cultural awareness, promoting tourism development, and advancing urban construction. Moreover, when some ancient town inevitably disappears, it can serve as a record. Publishing this large series of illustrated books on ancient towns in Chongqing is an effort to fulfill our modest role. The series comprises 8 books, each featuring 100 to 150 photographic images, along with corresponding descriptive text of 50,000 to 60,000 words, introducing a historic and cultural ancient town in Chongqing. We have achieved a balance where the realism and presence of the images bring the depth and transcendence of the text into a specific temporal and spatial framework; while the text stimulates divergent thinking, it also enables multi-dimensional interpretations of the visual and intuitive nature of the images.
