Features: This book originated from the series "Forgotten Dynasties" on CCTV Channel 1's "Journey of Discovery" program. The series, organized chronologically, introduces the pursuit by Chinese scholars of a lost ancient dynasty that vanished three thousand years ago, from the discovery of oracle bones to the present. This booklet follows the same chronological structure, with the addition of a chapter titled "Crazy Guessing Games" on the early decipherment of oracle bone script. The rest of the chapters align closely with the television program. This booklet is not an academic work but rather focuses on the process of discovery. It strives to minimize complex and obscure textual research, instead incorporating content driven by curiosity. We believe readers will certainly appreciate this approach during their reading.
