Patient's question:
Can spleen deficiency stranguria be treated?Doctor's answer:
Hello! Spleen deficiency and turbid discharge are often associated with physical weakness, excessive worry and pensiveness, or improper diet and overexertion, which damage the spleen's Qi. When the spleen Qi is deficient, it cannot control blood, leading to a loss of stability in the Chong and Ren meridians, which in turn fails to regulate menstrual blood, resulting in turbid discharge. Clinically, this manifests as menstrual blood flowing at irregular times, in excessive amounts like a gush, followed by continuous dripping, pale blood color, shortness of breath, fatigue, lack of vigor, and cold limbs. Treatment involves replenishing Qi and strengthening the spleen with Chinese medicine, as well as applying topical medications to regulate menstruation. With proper treatment, the prognosis is generally favorable.
