Features: Interventional radiology treatment for tumors has become one of the important treatment methods for tumors, especially malignant tumors. Among them, intravascular interventional therapy requires high equipment standards; without a good DSA (Digital Subtraction Angiography) and catheter system, it is impossible to achieve superselective intravascular interventional therapy. Additionally, high requirements are placed on the cultural, medical skills, personality qualities, and psychological qualities of the operators. The methods of intravascular interventional therapy are continuously improving, equipment is constantly evolving, and technology is updated rapidly. Therefore, it is necessary to publish a monograph on tumor vascular interventional therapy that can align with domestic and international advanced levels. The "Tumor Vascular Interventional Therapy," jointly written by interventional radiology experts from several major hospitals in China, has the following characteristics: First, all the authors are clinical interventional radiologists with strong hands-on skills and practical experience. Second, the focus is on interventional operation techniques and the vascular of various tumors, which is beneficial for the future development of interventional therapy towards refinement and standardization. Third, as a specialized monograph on tumor vascular interventional therapy, the book provides detailed explanations on the etiology, pathology, imaging diagnosis, indications, contraindications, complications and their prevention and treatment, X-ray protection, and commonly used drugs for malignant tumors in various human systems. This enables interventional operators, after referring to this book and combining on-site observation, communication, and practice, to safely and standardly perform tumor vascular interventional procedures, thereby improving the technical level and efficacy of cancer interventional therapy. Therefore, I believe that the publication of this book will be helpful to interventional radiology practitioners, especially beginners, as well as related clinical doctors, and will be well-received and welcomed by a broad readership.
