It can be categorized into three major types: simple fatty liver, alcoholic hepatitis (which is further divided into non-alcoholic fatty liver and alcoholic fatty liver), and liver fibrosis. Statistics show that the detection rate of fatty liver in the general population of mainland China is approximately 10%, while the detection rate in Taiwan is as high as 25%. Based on this calculation, it is estimated that about 134 million people in China suffer from fatty liver. To gain a comprehensive understanding of this disease and to popularize basic knowledge about fatty liver, we strive to achieve active prevention, early diagnosis, and timely treatment of fatty liver.
