How is pelvic effusion treated?

Patient's question:

Previously had bacterial vaginosis, took medication for treatment, and went for a follow-up check-up today. The doctor said it has already healed, just pay attention to hygiene and it will be fine. Additionally, she mentioned that during my next check-up, she would vaguely remember checking for cervical erosion. The first time I had a vaginal discharge check, she said it was mild to moderate. This time, however, she didn't ask me to have a cervical check. Is it urgent?

Doctor's answer:

It is best to pay attention to the following aspects after laser treatment.
1. Postoperative administration of antibiotics to prevent infection.
2. Strictly prohibit sexual activity and tub baths within 8 weeks postoperatively.
3. Carefully observe vaginal discharge. Postoperative discharge for the first 3 days is normal and does not require intervention or concern.
4. Between 7 to 10 days postoperatively, the cervical wound may shed scabs, with a small amount of vaginal bleeding, which does not require treatment. It typically stops on its own within 4 to 6 days. If there is significant peeling, vitamin K and rehmannia glutinosa ointment can be used.
