Successful Americans

Features: America is a special country. This nation possesses abundant resources, a unique social system, and rich human resources accumulated from all over the world over more than two hundred years. Its special conditions have provided many people with opportunities for success, making countless success stories continue to unfold. The purpose of this "little book" is not primarily to promote these success stories. In fact, it is impossible to encompass so many characters and their stories within these thin one hundred and ten pages. My aim is to enhance readers' intuitive understanding of American society and enrich their English language knowledge by listing examples or background materials of successful individuals. There are countless success stories, and each one is unique. Some people's success is purely due to opportunity, while others achieve it solely through their own struggles in adversity. Some success stories seem almost unbelievable, while others are remarkably ordinary.
