Features: This dictionary contains a total of 1,333 entries. It primarily includes legal terms and terminology from criminal law and criminal procedure law, supplemented by some terms from criminology and international criminal law. The dictionary is organized by categories. A classified index of entries is provided at the beginning, and a stroke index of entries is appended at the end. The data used in this dictionary is limited to information available as of April 2004. The author followed the following three principles during the editing process:
1. In the process of selecting entries, efforts were made to include terms related to criminal law. However, unstable terms were not included. Due to space constraints, only some of the more important terms from criminology and international criminal law were selected.
2. The explanations in the dictionary focus more on practicality. For some legal terms, the explanations are based on the relevant legal provisions to enhance their legal reliability. However, this is merely an indication for readers. If readers need a comprehensive understanding, they should refer to the original legal texts.
3. To facilitate readers in finding relevant legal provisions, the names of the cited laws and judicial interpretations are stated as clearly as possible when references are made.
