Patient's question:
I've been pregnant for a month, but recently I've noticed some pain in my abdomen, and there's always a recurrence of blood streaks, along with a large amount of yellowish fluid. I don't quite understand what the yellowish fluid is. So how do recurrent blood streaks and a large amount of yellowish fluid lead to a miscarriage?Doctor's answer:
If it happens early in pregnancy, it may be due to low progesterone levels, or it could be a case of implantation bleeding. The best course of action is to visit a hospital for a check-up to see how your progesterone levels are, in addition to the human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) values. If the progesterone levels are significantly low at 15, you may need to supplement progesterone. However, if all the tests show good quality, then it is likely just implantation bleeding, which should disappear over time.
