Features: The protagonist of this book, Clyde, was originally the son of a poor pastor. His parents were deeply religious and often took their children out into the streets to preach the will of God and sing hymns. However, the onlookers did not take them seriously, either giving them the cold shoulder or mocking and ridiculing them. They did not study well as children but were repeatedly wounded in spirit. Their family did not find happiness through worshipping Jesus either; instead, they ended up struggling to make ends meet.
