Is it bacterial vaginosis?

Patient's question:

I have had chronic cervical inflammation for over ten years. Currently, I have external itching, redness, and swelling that has spread to the skin around the urethral opening. I went to the hospital for a routine vaginal discharge test, which showed no trichomonas or yeast, but two+ white blood cells and degree three cleanliness. What type of vaginitis does this belong to? I compared the symptoms of yeast vaginitis, and my vaginal discharge seems to have a bit of a-like texture.

Doctor's answer:

Your condition is considered to be a case of candidal vulvovaginitis. Candidal vulvovaginitis is characterized by severe symptoms, recurrent episodes, and transmissibility, among other features. The symptoms of candidal vulvovaginitis primarily manifest as vulvar itching and abnormal vaginal discharge. The typical discharge is white, curd-like, and cheesy, with a foul odor. It may also be accompanied by a burning sensation in the vulva, urinary urgency, dysuria, and pain during intercourse. The inner side of the labia minora and vaginal mucosa may be covered with white, membranous material. After removal, the vaginal mucosa may appear red, swollen, or eroded, with superficial ulcers.
