From 1949 to 1976, it is divided into 23 chapters. These 23 chapters reflect Comrade Chen Yun's outstanding contributions and significant achievements in the struggle to restore the national economy immediately after the founding of the People's Republic of China, in the transformation to socialism and the formulation of the Five-Year Plan, in the comprehensive development of socialist construction and reversing the severe difficulties in the national economy, and in the exploration of foreign trade in the later period of the Cultural Revolution under the new international situation. From 1976 to 1995, it is divided into 8 chapters. These 8 chapters reflect Comrade Chen Yun's outstanding contributions and significant achievements in the struggle to smash the "Gang of Four" and carry out the rectification of chaos, in the great historical turning point achieved at the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, in advancing reform and opening up and socialist modernization, and in strengthening the construction of the Party in the new period.
