Features: China has issued approximately 550 mechanical safety national and industry standards (including mandatory and recommended ones). Many of these standards were developed based on international and European standards. Due to the lack of systematic organization and planning, these standards are not fully coordinated with related standards, but they remain usable. To meet the needs of industrial and mining enterprises and other organizations, to better guide design, production, and use, and to support China's safety certification efforts, thereby promoting Chinese mechanical products into the international market, we have compiled the "Mechanical Safety Standard Collection."
Referencing the European mechanical safety standard system, the mechanical safety standards have been organized and classified into three categories:
First category is basic standards, generally design principles for safety;
Second category is general standards, generally safety requirements or universal safety devices for a specific aspect;
Third category is safety standards for various products.
This collection is published in three volumes, covering the following content: mechanical safety fundamentals, risk assessment, human factors, safety protective devices, safety signs and symbols, environmental pollution, control systems, machine tool safety protection, product safety requirements, and electrical safety requirements.
