Features: The World Military Almanac is a continuously compiled and published academic and reference tool that densely packs information, primarily documenting new situations and progress in military affairs of countries around the world within a given year. The time frame for the materials collected in this volume of the Almanac: Generally, it covers from January to December 2002; a few extend to the first half of 2003; certain special topic materials and newly established categories include limited background information from before 2002 to provide readers with more systematic and comprehensive information.
