Features: This exercise book is compiled according to the "Basic Requirements for Teaching Higher Mathematics" formulated by the Teaching Guidance Committee of Higher Mathematics for Engineering in Higher Education, following the chapter order of common higher mathematics textbooks. Therefore, it can be used in conjunction with common textbooks. Each chapter of the exercise book consists of three parts: examples, basic problems, and miscellaneous problems. Examples are designed to complement the solutions to miscellaneous problems. All computational problems come with answers. To inspire thought and provide problem-solving methods, hints are given for most miscellaneous problems. An appendix at the end of the book includes common formulas for easy reference. Most of the exercises in this book are collected by many teachers from the Department of Applied Mathematics during their teaching process. For the revision, the selected examples remain largely unchanged. To highlight the features of the exercise book, the exercise section has been adjusted into a comprehensive question bank, including basic training and comprehensive training. For undergraduate students, they can master basic concepts, important theorems, and key formulas by solving the problems in the basic training section. The comprehensive training section includes some problems with appropriate difficulty, including some questions from recent postgraduate entrance examinations in recent years. The questions and reference answers for the postgraduate entrance examinations from 2001 to 2003 are directly attached at the end of the book for reference.
