Features: The second edition of this book is a revised and rewritten version based on the first edition, designed for teaching use in the five-year programs of basic and clinical medicine across national medical and pharmaceutical universities. This book scientifically explains the form and structure of human organs according to the functional systems of the human body. It is an important foundational course in medical science. To implement the country's education and healthcare policies, we organized anatomical experts and professors from 22 medical schools to compile this book based on the "Teaching Syllabus for Systematic Anatomy" of national higher medical schools, the "Syllabus for Professional Unified Examinations in Medical Majors of Higher Medical Schools" of the National Examination Center of the Ministry of Health, and the requirements of the Ministry of Health's Textbook Evaluation Committee for cultivating medical talents oriented toward the 21st century, the world, and the future. The book also highlights its ideological, scientific, advanced, inspirational, and practical aspects. With the rapid development of medical science, especially the widespread clinical application of modern technologies such as CT, MRI, SPECT, and ultrasound, the in-depth study and advancement of systematic anatomy have been promoted. Combining years of teaching experience and practical application, we have revised some concepts, definitions, and arguments, and added the latest research findings from both domestic and international studies. The professional terminology in this textbook follows the "Terminology of Human Anatomy" published by the National Natural Science Terminology Commission. To improve the professional English proficiency of medical students, the book includes an English-Chinese index of common systematic anatomical terms, with arrangements for the nervous system, endocrine system, and others. The entire book contains approximately 640,000 words, 455 illustrations, including 163 colored illustrations and 292 line drawings.
