The ideological posture of our time

Features: In the group of articles, the author attempts to express his fundamental views on the essence of philosophy and its fate in the contemporary era. I understand philosophy in the Aristotelian sense of "philosophy," that is, in the later sense of "existentialism." It is precisely for this reason that the author is able to regard philosophy as a unique Greek-European discipline characterized by the concept of "formalized" thinking. The second group of articles is almost a discussion on the relationship between the "poetry" and "thought" of post-philosophy. The author has always been somewhat interested in this topic, a profound issue concerning the moderation and balance of modern culture. The third group of articles appears rather disorganized, including several book reviews, articles on translation issues, and other topics, but they all seem to revolve around the overarching theme of "East and West." Today, here, both the individual's situation and the collective reality are undoubtedly shaped by the theme of "East and West"; for a Chinese scholar engaged in Western academic research, it is an inescapable curse.
