Features: Exams are an indispensable part of education. Exam scores serve as the basis for "teaching according to aptitude," the basis for evaluating educational effectiveness, and the basis for allocating educational resources. While exams play these important roles in education, they also produce significant negative impacts. In the journey of a Chinese student's growth, exams have not only successfully replaced their original intrinsic motivation based on interest and curiosity with extrinsic motivation for pursuing fame and fortune, but have also successfully driven teachers to focus solely on imparting knowledge, nearly forgetting to develop students' well-rounded personalities and practical abilities. Moreover, exams have very successfully eradicated students' creativity, particularly their ability to ask questions and express doubt. As a result, students educated in Chinese schools often fail to see obvious problems and tend to believe things that are highly questionable. This tendency is particularly pronounced when it comes to dealing with exams.
