Features: Neurology is a discipline that requires a high degree of integration between theory and clinical practice. Neurological diseases exhibit a wide range of complex manifestations and are highly specialized. They not only demand solid and comprehensive theoretical knowledge but also necessitate continuous experience and courage in practice in clinical settings. Mastering various neurological syndromes can enable accurate and rapid clinical diagnoses, reducing the occurrence of misdiagnoses and missed diagnoses. However, searching through all available materials and books failed to find a comprehensive and convenient monograph on neurological syndromes, which is undoubtedly a regret. I believe this is also the experience of most neurologists. Moreover, neurological syndromes are extremely vast, making it feel overwhelming to start with. Just the names and meanings of so many syndromes can be difficult for even professional physicians to grasp. In this context, Neurological Syndromes came into being. The data in this book primarily comes from Synonyms, Eponyms, and Acronyms in Medicine, Clinical Syndromology, Diagnostic Criteria for Internal Diseases, Clinical Neurology, AdmnSandViCtor’sneumlopogy, and relevant domestic and international magazines. After more than two years of collection and organization, it has basically included all neurological syndromes. This book has the following features: (1) It has two indexes: an English index arranged alphabetically and a Chinese index arranged in pinyin order, making it easy to look up; (2) For each syndrome, common English and Chinese synonyms are provided as much as possible; (3) The clinical manifestations of each syndrome are compiled in a list for easy memorization; (4) Each syndrome is explained with common etiologies and localizations as much as possible; (5) It is compact and easy to carry and reference.
