Features: During the period from 1996 to 1998, when the editor of this book worked at the Education Section of the Chinese Embassy in Canada, they paid close attention to tracking the dynamics of educational reforms across various regions. They frequently conducted in-depth visits and research in educational administrative, financial, statistical departments, and various types of schools at all levels in Canada. They promptly wrote articles reporting on the formulation of educational development strategies by some Canadian government departments, the introduction of educational policies and regulations, measures taken by various higher education institutions to address challenges they faced, and the ideas proposed by education professionals for the development of education in the 21st century, and sent them back to China for reference by relevant departments. Since the 1990s, with the adjustment of international and domestic economic structures, changes in the talent market, and the tightening of government budget allocations, the Canadian government and its education departments at all levels have been undergoing various types of reforms. Many of the problems they face and the reasons for their reforms are similar to those in China's current educational situation, so their approaches and measures hold significant reference value for the Chinese education community.
