Features: The 24-Form Tai Chi Chuan and 32-Form Tai Chi Sword routines were developed in the 1950s by the State Physical Culture and Sports Commission to meet the needs of mass sports activities. These simplified and easy-to-learn Tai Chi and sword routines were written by experts and published by the People's Sports Publishing House. Since their introduction, they have been widely loved by the general public and have played a positive role in promoting national fitness. Under the recommendation of Comrade Li Peiyun, Deputy Director of the Working Department of the Beijing Provincial Sports Association, I was invited to teach the 24-Form Tai Chi Chuan and 32-Form Tai Chi Sword on the "Health Corner" program of the Central People's Broadcasting Station. Based on the original manuscript and drawing on my many years of teaching experience both domestically and internationally, I have divided the sections with frequent variations in the original forms into smaller segments. I have also added verbal prompts and post-segment suggestions to analyze and explain the main structures of each section. Additionally, I provide detailed instructions on how to perform the most challenging moves, the key points to focus on, and the importance of strengthening certain physical qualities in daily practice to enhance exercise effectiveness.
