Criminal Procedure Law (24th Edition)

Author: (German) Claus Roxin
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2003-04-01
Features: This original edition is the most widely used work on criminal procedure law in German literature, with a detailed system architecture that combines theory and practice. The motivation for the translator to translate this book was that when the translator was a student abroad, upon arriving in Germany, he desperately wanted to quickly enter the state of writing a thesis, but was troubled by insufficient language skills, only being able to swallow information whole in class and when reading materials. The relationship between this book and another work titled "Criminal Procedure Law" (14th Edition) published by the same publisher in the same series as the author is that these two books follow different goals in terms of content and data, and are also entirely different in structure and narrative style. They can be used independently as reference materials for study. However, the Criminal Procedure Law in the PdW-Band series has a tremendous supplementary effect on this book, as it provides a detailed analysis of the facts and reasons of important court cases. This is something that the book cannot when making systematic arguments. For the convenience of readers interested in this data, this book specially lists the court cases discussed in the Criminal Procedure Law of the PdW-Band series in italics in the references of this book. Readers can also find this data in the case index listed at the end of the book.
