Features: The magnificent and tragic journey of the Xibe people's westward migration 240 years ago, a historical account rarely heard of and a heart-stirring story. The novel "The Great Westward Migration"s the historical event of 5,000 Xibe people migrating westward during the Qing Dynasty under Emperor Qianlong. It is a genuine historical Western novel, the Chinese version of "The Last of the Mohicans." It breaks the monotony of historical novels and brings readers closer to history with its strong contemporary awareness. The Xibe hero "Wolf" Buzhan infiltrates the Xibe camp to avenge his father's murder. Upon learning that his father's murderer is among the Xibe migrating westward, he decides to join the army and travel westward to seek revenge. By chance, he discovers that his father's murderer is the commanding officer A'mu Hulong who is leading the westward migration. He finds himself in a dilemma because he has fallen in love with A'mu Hulong's daughter, Muko. What puzzles him even more is that he is very aware that A'mu Hulong was assassinated, and the great westward migration would be in vain. For the sake of the westward migration, Buzhan suppresses his anger and decides to settle the score with A'mu Hulong after the troops arrive in Ili. During the westward migration, Buzhan faces life-and-death challenges and, with his extraordinary courage and wisdom, finally helps A'mu Hulong and Apukai bring the Xibe camp to Ili. Just as Buzhan is about to settle the old score with A'mu Hulong, he unexpectedly discovers that the murderer of his father is someone else. The novel has a fast-paced storyline, filled with suspense and dramatic twists. The unique ethnic culture of the Xibe people is a refreshing experience, and the nationalized, stylized dialogue is full of "Shakespearean" charm.
