According to the different skill requirements for senior optical fitters and spectacle technicians as specified in the national vocational standard, this textbook is divided into two parts. This allows optical practitioners to select the appropriate part based on the vocational qualification level they intend to pursue. During the writing of this textbook, we have added content on the production process of resin lenses, secondary processing of optical lenses, quality standards and testing methods for sunglasses, as well as low vision aids. Through the study of these contents, we hope to broaden the knowledge base of optical practitioners and better equip them to meet the growing demands of the optical fitting industry. This textbook is suitable for the vocational skills identification guidance of senior optical fitters and spectacle technicians, can serve as a teaching reference for training schools, and can also be used as a self-study guide for optical practitioners.
