Patient's question:
How is cervical erosion of degree 2 treated?Doctor's answer:
Hello, cervical erosion is a relatively common chronic cervicitis in clinical diagnosis. The treatment methods for erosion generally include vaginal topical medication; local cervical microwave or laser therapy, and finally LEEP surgical treatment. If you have 2° cervical erosion, it does need to be treated. First, it is recommended to have a cervical scraping TCT and HPV test. If it is simple inflammation, local cervical microwave treatment can be performed. Otherwise, a colposcopy examination needs to be combined. If inflammation is considered, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) may need LEEP surgical treatment.
