Features: In 1989, under the care and personal guidance of Professors Zhang Wenqi and Zhu Richang, the first edition of "Metal Corrosion Science" was completed. After publication, it was well-received by all parties and won the National Excellent Teaching Material Award from the State Education Commission in 1992. We deeply cherish and thank these two professors. After 10 years of teaching practice, we believe it is necessary to revise the book, supplement the new developments in this field both domestically and internationally in recent years, especially to fully reflect China's scientific research achievements in the field of corrosion science, making the book more advanced, scientific, and practical. The book emphasizes fundamental theories while also noting their practical applications and teaching applicability. For this purpose, we have added discussion questions at the end of each chapter, which not only facilitates student learning but also helps deepen understanding.
