This book is based on lecture notes from the author's teaching at the Graduate Program of the Institute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology, Tsinghua University, in recent years. Its purpose is to enable graduate students to understand the research directions and achievements of the institute through this course, while also broadly introducing new developments in the field of nuclear energy. It holds significant reference value for technical personnel in nuclear power and thermal power engineering, managers of power enterprises, and teachers and students in relevant power and energy utilization programs at universities and colleges.
