Features: Electronic instruments, which are produced both domestically and internationally, but most are overly focused on their entertainment functions. How to use them as teaching tools in regular schools has been a significant effort by the music and education sectors. As far as I know, Zhao Yishan, a teacher at the Central Conservatory of Music, has been using commercially available electronic keyboards to train primary school students in ensemble music performance. In early summer 1993, the China Music, Music Education Committee, and Guangdong Music Association held an electronic keyboard teaching seminar. Zhao Yishan's teaching experiments in Beijing sparked widespread interest among attendees and received high praise.
This book consists of eight volumes, with each volume containing ten lessons, two volumes making up one semester, and four volumes covering one academic year. The content includes: rhythm exercises, finger exercises, pieces, ensemble performance, chord accompaniment, tone appreciation, rhythm style appreciation, music knowledge and practice, unit aural practice, exercise completion, piece accompaniment arrangement, and piece composition. When new content is introduced in each chapter, it provides a brief introduction, author biography, an overview of musical styles and genres from different eras, piece introductions, teaching highlights, teaching procedures, and teaching methods, all of which are designed for teachers and parents to use in instruction.
The new teaching methods aim to help children master electronic keyboard performance techniques while quickly acquiring rich musical knowledge, thereby improving their musical literacy and cultivating high-quality musical talents, ultimately achieving the goal of building a reserve force for higher education in electronic music.
The book selects a large number of melodious and enduring classical pieces from both China and abroad, emphasizing the composers' biographies and vividly titled pieces. It explains the styles and genres of different eras, as well as the rhythmic and compositional styles of various ethnic groups and regions. This allows students to grasp a wealth of musical content in the shortest time possible, giving them a comprehensive understanding of music they will encounter later. It also enables them to independently and confidently complete musical composition and performance, fully realizing their musical potential and achieving outstanding results.
