Features: This series consists of 13 books, and we have established the guiding principles for writing as "expanding the theoretical scope, deepening the theoretical foundation, enriching the theoretical innovation, and ensuring practicality and guidance for school physical education practice." The content covers the main issues facing school physical education in the new century, such as physical education and health education, physical teaching and physical curriculum theory, student athlete training and school physical education, and traditional sports conducted on campus. The writing style requires fluent and easy-to-understand language, not only serving as training for academic qualification but also providing a "recharge" effect for full-time physical education teachers to improve their theoretical knowledge. The contributors are primarily middle-aged and young scholars who have emerged in the field of school physical education theory in the past decade, with rich teaching and research experience. Most authors hold master's or doctoral degrees, forming a dynamic and forward-thinking core force in China's school physical education theory field. This series is widely applicable, serving as a reference for continuous education of physical education teachers, a textbook for students of physical education colleges and universities, as well as a professional theoretical reference for school physical education researchers and administrative personnel.
Physical education is one of the important components of school physical education. Currently, the content related to physical education in physical education classes falls far short of meeting real-world needs and has not been specifically included in the scope of school physical education teaching. To promote the comprehensive implementation of physical education in schools and promote the normal development of adolescents' physical forms and the formation of correct posture, we have compiled this book to provide physical education teachers with a systematic understanding of physical education and to offer guidance for its practical application.
The physical education of adolescents is a teaching process based on human biology, kinesiology, and behaviorism. This book collects and selects relevant content, aiming to reflect the systematic nature of fundamental theoretical knowledge in physical education. It focuses on discussing the necessity and feasibility of implementing physical education for adolescents by examining the laws of human growth and development and the impact of physical movement on physical form. To enhance the practicality of this book in school physical education teaching, we have included general requirements and exercise methods for maintaining correct posture in daily sitting, standing, walking, and running. Based on years of practical experience in conducting physical education for students, we have compiled several sets of physical exercises suitable for student training, for reference and selection by readers.
To further promote the comprehensive development of physical education for students, we have also included exercise methods for correcting abnormal physical forms and content related to physical measurement and evaluation.
