Author Bio: Wu Ziming is from Shunde, Guangdong. He graduated from the Department of Religious Studies at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1972 with a Honours Bachelor of Arts degree. He later obtained a Master of Arts (Religious Education) in 1983 and a Doctor of Philosophy (Education) in 1985 from the Institute of Education at the University of London, UK. Currently, he serves as a Professor in the Department of Religious Studies at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and concurrently as the Director of the Research Center for Religion and Chinese Society at Chung Ki College. His major publications include Exploring the Early History of Church Schools in Hong Kong, New Directions for School Religious Education, and Changing Paradigms of Christian Higher Education in China. Additionally, he has edited several series, such as Proceedings of the Symposium on the History of Chinese Christian Universities, Bibliography of Chinese Christian Universities (in five volumes), and Christian Education and Chinese Society (in seven volumes). He has also published over 30 academic papers in journals such as Modern History Studies, Chinese Literature, History and Philology, The Scholar, Journal of Modern Chinese History, Studies on the History of Christianity in Modern China, and Journal of Educational Research. In 2002, Professor Wu was appointed as an Outstanding Fellow for the year 2002 by the Ricci Institute for Sino-Western Cultural History at the University of San Francisco, California, USA.
