Features: Zheng Naiquan, styled Bishouweng, was born in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province in 1911. He excels in landscapes, figures, flowers and plants, feathers, beasts, bronze vessels, and fresh vegetables and fruits. He is skilled in both brushwork and freehand painting, combining them effectively. In terms of artistic conception, subject selection, composition, line usage, color application, and inscriptions, he has broken through the boundaries set by predecessors, making pioneering contributions. His works have participated in all national art exhibitions and received awards, and he has published over thirty personal art albums. His works are treasured by institutions such as the South China Sea, Tiananmen, the Great Hall of the People, and the National Art Museum of China. Currently, he serves as a member of the Administrative Committee of the China Academy of Painting, a professor at the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, a standing committee member of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, vice director of the Fujian Provincial Research Institute of Culture and History, president of the Fuzhou Art Institute, and honorary chairman of the Literature and Art Federation. He is an important representative figure in contemporary Chinese painting circles.
