Features: In today's era where civil and commercial law textbooks for higher education institutions are abundant, is it merely a repetition of existing achievements and a low-level, meaningless labor to organize the compilation of such a series of civil and commercial law textbooks? This is the question we should address when organizing the compilation of this series of textbooks. On the surface, Chinese legal textbooks, especially those on civil and commercial law, are diverse, offering our students a wide range of choices, making it seem unnecessary to compile another set of textbooks. However, upon careful study, we find that this statement is incorrect. We believe that although there are numerous civil and commercial law textbooks in our country, most of them are outdated in content and overly aged in perspective, failing to reflect the latest achievements of contemporary civil and commercial law. We should compile a set of civil and commercial law textbooks that fully reflects the development trends of contemporary civil and commercial law. Based on this consideration, after compiling the "Civil and Commercial Law Series Textbooks for Higher Education Law Programs (1)," we decided to continue compiling civil and commercial law textbooks that reflect the newest development trends of contemporary civil and commercial law, for the use of law students in higher education institutions in Guangdong Province and across the country.
