Features: Based on an in-depth interpretation of the original works of Marx and Engels, as well as a large number of newly compiled manuscripts and related materials, this book historically and logically reconstructs the emergence, evolution, and maturation of the early philosophical thoughts of the two authors. It succinctly and clearly reveals and elucidates the two profound ideological transformations they experienced in the process of establishing historical materialism, particularly how the second transformation achieved a breakthrough from speculative logic to scientific logic. This is of great importance for understanding the essence of the revolutionary transformation of Marxist philosophy in the history of modern Western philosophy.
