Features: With the continuous deepening of educational reform, the research on mathematical thinking and methods has also been continuously deepened. Both in theory and in teaching experiments, fruitful results have been achieved. On this basis, the author, based on the characteristics of mathematical science and relevant theories from pedagogy and psychology, starts from the teaching practice and research of secondary school mathematics teachers, elaborating and researching secondary school mathematical thinking and methods from three aspects: First, from the perspective of modern educational objectives, the characteristics of mathematical science, and the educational function of mathematics, the guiding significance of mathematical thinking and methods for secondary school mathematics teaching is elaborated; Second, the basic methods in secondary school mathematics are systematically elaborated from a theoretical point of view; Third, from the perspective of teaching practice, the theoretical and practical exploration of the teaching research of secondary school mathematical thinking and methods is discussed. Additionally, it reflects the new ideas and dynamics in the process of mathematical education reform. The author hopes that this book can play a positive role in promoting the general laws of mathematical activities; helping people understand the spirit, thinking, and methods of mathematics, establishing a correct mathematical viewpoint and mathematical education viewpoint; advancing the teaching research of secondary school mathematics, improving teachers' teaching and research levels, enhancing students' learning, academic performance, mathematical literacy, and cultivating intelligent and innovative talents.
