Features: Surviving Granules is a poetry collection by the poet Cheng Youshu. These works reflect the author's outpouring of personal emotions, the turbulence of the times, love, battles, and the life of the people. Everything flows naturally from her pen, without pretense or the of artificial craftsmanship, much like Su Dongpo's writing—“largely like flowing clouds and clear water, initially lacking a fixed form, but moving where it should go and stopping where it cannot go further.” Her natural talent keeps her far from fake poetry.
