The era we live in is an age that demands an abundance of talent and wisdom. The grand project of four modernizations calls for talent and wisdom! When it comes to wisdom, people often think of those dexterous craftsmen, outstanding talents in various fields, creative engineers and inventors, scientists with significant discoveries, literary and artistic figures who shape beautiful artistic images, entrepreneurs who turn around losses and revitalize enterprises, military strategists who turn and achieve victory, as well as exceptionally intelligent primary, secondary, and doctoral students. Indeed, wisdom is one of humanity's greatest treasures. Who doesn't aspire to become a wise person? Wisdom refers to the ability to quickly, profoundly, and correctly recognize objective things and solve problems. For example, meticulous observation, creative thinking, good memory, rich imagination, decisive and accurate judgment, and flexible and agile adaptability are all manifestations of wisdom.
Adapting to the Times, Innovating and Transforming
The world is in constant flux. Nature changes with the turning of seasons—just as the Beijing Olympics successfully bid, Sydney faces scandals; as the Middle East smolders, trade disputes flare up between Europe and the Americas. Everything in the world is always changing. In business competition, even if you hold a market advantage, a slight oversight can lead to losing half your territory; on the soccer field, a team's poor tactical decision or defensive mistake can allow the opponent to exploit the weakness, score goals one after another; in social activities or business negotiations, everything may be going smoothly, with an order almost sealed, yet a single sentence or an unexpected incident can change everything, derailing the deal and breaking the agreement; young people in love, their relationship may be heating up with marriage on the horizon, but an unforeseen event can suddenly derail the wedding plans.
In human affairs, change is even more constant. All this demonstrates that things are always in motion and transformation, though some changes are rapid while others are slower.
