China is one of the countries with the richest World Heritage resources, and in the future, many highly valuable heritage sites will be inscribed on the World Heritage List. For heritage sites already inscribed on the World Heritage List, strict protection and reasonable utilization are mandatory. To effectively carry out the work of heritage identification, nomination, protection, and utilization, the Peking University World Heritage Research Center has carefully selected and compiled international treaties, charters, declarations, and program documents related to heritage for reference by those engaged in management, research, teaching, media, and the general readers who are concerned about World Heritage and national heritage. The selection of content in this book is closely aligned with the needs of the center's long-term teaching, research, and planning practices. It is hoped that this book will be helpful to all colleagues dedicated to World Heritage research.
