Features: Briefly reviewing this history is intended to let people today understand that we have ushered in a spring of philosophy and social sciences. In particular, in 2001, Comrade Jiang Zemin emphasized the importance of philosophy and social sciences on multiple occasions during expert discussions and visits to universities, proposing to vigorously promote the development and prosperity of the philosophy and social sciences sector from the perspective of enhancing comprehensive national strength and fostering national spirit. The 16th National Congress report further stated that it is necessary to "give equal importance to social sciences and natural sciences, fully play the role of philosophy and social sciences in economic and social development." This has provided an unprecedented historical opportunity for the development and prosperity of philosophy and social sciences, greatly inspiring a broad range of philosophy and social sciences workers, including those at Peking University. Riding this inspiring spring breeze, "Peking University Forum" first launched the humanities forum, which has successfully held two editions. I believe this itself is a moving "spring story."
