Features: During the 33 years of its establishment, Yanjing University enrolled nearly 10,000 students and staff. Numerous teachers, employees, and students achieved outstanding academic and professional success, with some even making remarkable and distinguished contributions. To introduce the profile of Yanjing University alumni to the world, accumulate valuable materials on the institution's educational practices, and lay a foundation for further research on the history and educational experiences of Yanjing University, the Yanjing Research Institute compiled Biographies of Yanjing University Figures. The first issue features individuals who are academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, members of the Engineering Academy of China, members of the Philosophy and Social Sciences Division of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, martyrs, faculty and staff, as well as students admitted from the founding of the university to 1932. The second issue will feature students admitted after 1933, primary and secondary school students of the affiliated middle and primary schools, an index, a list of students admitted each year, and a postscript.
