The book features 43 essays that comprehensively reveal Professor Ji Xianlin's academic achievements and his significant contributions to the history of Chinese scholarship in the 20th century. At the end of the book, there is also a brief academic biography of Professor Ji, a bibliography of his publications from 1996 to 2001, and an overview of the three major academic projects he led.
