Features: "Bankruptcy Law" is one of the teaching materials for law majors in higher education institutions. It was compiled based on the "Teaching Syllabus for Economic Law" approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. The guiding principle for writing this book is: adhering to the basic principles of Marxism, based on the actual conditions of China's reform and opening-up and socialist modernization, striving to reflect the requirements of governing the country according to law and building a socialist rule of law state, reflecting the achievements of China's bankruptcy legislation and the use of bankruptcy legal means to adjust legal relationships related to the socialist market economy, drawing on and absorbing new academic thoughts and views on bankruptcy law research both domestically and internationally, focusing on clarifying the basic theories and basic systems of this discipline, making it suitable for the teaching needs of bankruptcy law for undergraduate law students. This book is divided into twelve chapters. Chapter 1: Overview of Bankruptcy Law, introduces the basic concepts of bankruptcy and bankruptcy law, their regulatory functions, and the historical evolution of bankruptcy systems. Chapter 2: Filing for Bankruptcy and Acceptance, introduces bankruptcy requirements, the submission and acceptance procedures for bankruptcy filings. Chapter 3: Meeting of Creditors, introduces the composition, convening, powers, and voting procedures of the meeting of creditors. Chapter 4: Settlement and Restructuring System, introduces the general theories and main contents of the bankruptcy settlement system and restructuring system. Chapters 5 to 11 focus on bankruptcy liquidation issues, covering topics such as bankruptcy declaration, bankruptcy claims and related rights, bankruptcy assets and their management and distribution, bankruptcy termination, as well as discharge and restoration of rights. Chapter 12: Bankruptcy Relief and Bankruptcy Liability, introduces the bankruptcy unemployment relief system and the legal responsibilities for various bankruptcy violations.
