Features: The selected papers in this collection were submitted by members at the 18th Academic Symposium of the National Marxist Literary and Art Studies Association, with some also contributed as open submissions. This collection is co-organized by the National Marxist Literary and Art Studies Association, the School of Education at Shenzhen University, and the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Renmin University of China. The papers are divided into four groups: Group 1 focuses on learning and practicing the "Three Represents" in Marxist literary theory research; Group 2 explores cultural studies within Marxist literary theory in the context of economic globalization; Group 3 addresses foundational theoretical research on Marxist literary theory; and Group 4 examines Western Marxist literary theory research.
