Features: Medical law is an emerging legal science formed by the integration of medicine, public health, and law. It is a product of the interaction and mutual permeation between natural sciences and social sciences. It serves as both an applied branch within the field of legal science and a significant achievement in the development of modern medicine. As a discipline, medical law possesses its own theoretical system, a rigorous structure, and extensive connections with other disciplines. Conducting research in medical law is an objective need for the development of the healthcare industry. We must, based on China's national conditions, seriously study and explore legal issues in the healthcare field, summarize the experiences and lessons learned from the construction of medical legal systems, and absorb and learn from research achievements in medical law (health law) both domestically and internationally. It is precisely for this reason that we have organized teachers, lawyers, and experts with rich teaching experience, legal practice, and government legal affairs experience to compile this Medical Law Teaching Material, intended for use by students majoring in medicine and healthcare. Moreover, due to the strict categorization of seven topics according to China's classification of medical and healthcare administrative management in this textbook, as well as the inclusion of many new materials, additional cases, test questions, and relevant laws and regulations, the scientificity, systematic nature, and practicality of the textbook are fully demonstrated. Therefore, this teaching material can also provide theoretical assistance to legal professionals engaged in medical legal practice and serve as a textbook for medical workers preparing for physician qualification examinations and for medical administrative units organizing physician training.
