Features: This book is a collection of design works for artworks inside Line 1 of Nanjing Metro. It was collectively created by the Nanjing Art College under the supervision of the Nanjing Metro Command. Nine stations were ultimately selected: "A Journey of a Thousand Miles" – Olympic Sports Center Station; "The Light of the 10th National Games" – Olympic Sports Center Station; "Brilliant New City" – Yuantong Station; "Cloud Pattern and Brocade" – Zhongsheng Station; "Remnants of the Ancient City" – Zhonghua Gate Station; "Colorful Lanterns along Qinhuai River" – Sanshanjie Station; "Republic Narrative" – Zhujiang Road Station; "Ancient Capital of Six Dynasties" – Gulou Station; "Water Moon and Xuanwu" – Xuanwumen Station; "Jinling Scenery" – Nanjing Station. These stations feature a group of artworks consisting of ten murals and two sculptures, presenting a comprehensive showcase of Nanjing's cultural characteristics.
