Features: The book is divided into four main parts. Part I on Electrical Control focuses on common low-voltage electrical appliances, the composition and analysis of typical electrical control circuits, motor protection, circuit design, and the selection of electrical components. Part II on Programmable Controllers and Their Applications covers fundamental knowledge and basic principles. It introduces the structure, working mode, programming languages, and programming instructions of PLCs. From an application perspective, it describes the design content, steps, and examples of programmable controller systems. Part III on DC Motor Speed Control Systems starts from the basics of DC speed control, explaining the concept of feedback control, the composition of static error-speed regulation systems, and the fundamental speed control theory based on current loop and speed loop dual-loop static error-free (PID) systems. It also introduces reversible DC speed control systems. Part IV on AC Motor Speed Control Systems discusses the advantages of AC and DC systems and the increasing widespread application of AC, introducing the basic principles and operational content of frequency converters, along with examples of frequency converter systems. During the writing process of this textbook, attention was paid not only to reflecting the current state of control technology in China but also to meeting the needs of new technology development. In terms of content, the textbook emphasizes the combination of fundamental theory and practice to accommodate the learning needs of students in mechanical manufacturing-related disciplines and other non-electrical fields. This textbook can also serve as a reference for faculty and students in relevant electrical disciplines, as well as for engineering technicians engaged in electrical technology.
