Part I: Introduction. It covers general knowledge about translation, including the definition, types, and nature of translation and translation theory; introduces various proposals regarding translation standards, discusses the establishment and application of translation standards, and proposes several key relationships that need to be correctly handled to achieve translation standards; it also briefly introduces the history of Sanskrit-Tibetan, Chinese-Tibetan, and Tibetan-Chinese translation. Part II: Chinese to Tibetan. Chapter 1 discusses the translation methods for polysemous words, near-synonyms, idioms, and word collocations; Chapter 2 addresses issues of scope and the translation of complex sentences, multiple complex sentences, and sentence groups; Chapter 3 covers translation techniques such as addition, omission, and rearrangement of word order. Part III: Tibetan to Chinese. The first four chapters discuss translation issues for general styles, covering translation units and scope, as well as analyzing the original text from lexical, lexical, and logical perspectives for comprehension; translation methods for polysemous words, near-synonyms, numerals and time words, proper nouns, and transliteration; translation methods for various sentence components and complex sentences for grammar. Chapter 5: Literary Translation. It discusses literary translation standards, the translation of poetry and idioms, as well as the translation of metaphors, allusions, rhetorical devices, and sound decoration.
