Features: Customs are the product of social activities of human beings in society. Therefore, as long as there are people, there must be customs. Marriage customs, like other customs, are merely an expression of people's "conformity consciousness" in their psychological identification. There is no unchangeable principle like the rising and setting of the sun. Often, when one person does something and others approve, and a third party imitates it, it forms a "trend." Over time, this "trend" becomes a "custom." After a stage appears, some folk customs are fixed, complicated, institutionalized, and mystified by those in power through canonical forms, becoming ceremonial customs.
