Features: The original text of "Monthly Ordinances and Decrees" was written on a wall of the Xuanquan Zhi building. When unearthed, it was already fragmented. Due to some issues during the process of reassembly and restoration, the Gansu Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology requested assistance from the Institute of Cultural Relics of China. Hu Pingsheng of the Institute of Cultural Relics of China traveled to Lanzhou to examine the actual artifacts and began research work. The Gansu side provided all necessary support. The book now completed is the result of collaboration between the two institutions. This book is co-edited by the Institute of Cultural Relics of China and the Gansu Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology. The illustrations were prepared by the Gansu Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology; the text, annotations, and the two research papers were written by Hu Pingsheng of the Institute of Cultural Relics of China. The material for the section "Discovery and Condition" in the article "Studies on the Excavated Artifacts from Xuanquan Zhi" was provided by friends from the Gansu Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology.
