How to treat fallopian tube blockage?

Patient's question:

How to treat fallopian tube blockage? My sister said her abdomen was very painful for a week and vaginal bleeding occurred again, then she went to the hospital for a thorough examination. The doctor said she had a fallopian tube pregnancy and wanted to understand the treatment method. How should a fallopian tube pregnancy be treated?

Doctor's answer:

Salpingectomy, whether due to miscarriage or a ruptured ectopic pregnancy, can promptly save lives. If a woman is no longer able to carry a child, the contralateral salpingostomy can be performed simultaneously. For women who need to preserve their fertility, salpingectomy should be performed if the tubal inflammation is too severe, the rupture is too long, the middle fallopian tube and blood vessels are damaged, and/or the vital signs are critical. Conservative surgery cannot control a ruptured fallopian tube and should be immediately removed.
